Excellent, cogent explanation of the reality of this war. Trump won’t accept defeat although Iran has certainly outsmarted us. I dread the next few months while the narcissist continues to refuse accepting that he is totally incapable of making decisions ad will do anything to save his ass.

This, as you describe it, reminds me of the way the Occident took down the USSR. America's USSR moment is nigh. Petrol prices in my neighborhood have shot up, food prices too, but there are specials daily on food. Rents have stabilized, construction still rages on. More humans are walking these days too. More two-wheeled vehicles on the street, a sure sign of downsizing. Thanks for the analysis.

So true … and scary 😱 for all Americans. It doesn’t matter that we never wanted our government to do this. The “Power of the People”speeches are a hard pill to swallow rn.

A depressing read, but one all Americans should understand. I’ve long been saying that US dollar hegemony is not a given, and it’s eroding faster than we want to admit. I don’t think Trump fully understands what’s at risk or has given any thought to steps to address it.

The US government is no better than the British kingdom, it fought to extricate itself from. It learned from the best! We became the oppressors long ago. When you think about it, it’s hard to believe that the Middle Eastern countries didn’t dump the US a long time ago. Trump was just the last straw for them and for me.

Excellent verifiable data set however I have a question: Given pre-existing US debt dynamics (CBO long-term projections), how much does any single conflict actually accelerate insolvency versus serving as a convenient scapegoat for fiscal mismanagement?

The headline

is about Jordan, but there is nothing about Jordan in the article…

The article is part of a three part Series of american decline and its potential impact on the gulf countries. The last part was mostly economic.Because the article centers around united states.

However, if you are very much interested in jordan, look at previous articles that specifically dealt with jordan.

By the way, thank you so much for reading the article😊

Should have happened a long time ago. The gulf countries need to kick everyone out and start working together

Iran wouldn't been hurt more if they helped Ukraine defeat ruzzia. However the orange dotard is jealous of Zelensky and would never turn on his boss Putin.

The entire regime will need to be executed and the Republican party banned to fix this mess. When Democrats return to power, they need to restore the treason laws to target ruzzian collaborators
