"Beyond the media headlines: Five strategic reasons the 'Gray-Layer' chose the state over a foreign-backed revolution. A deep dive into the Ghost of 1953."
I have not had time to read all your articles, yet, but I am working my way up from the earliest post to the more recent.
Do you have an article which gives more information about public opinion about the government they dislike, and the percentage of the regime steadfast supporters versus other segments of society ?
"Weary of mismanagement but terrified of Syrian-style collapse, the Iranian public made a cold, nationalistic, calculated decision to stand behind their nation, even if it meant the government they disliked."
Also thank you for introducing me to Iran's Grand Bazaar. I read what Wikipedia posts about the bazaar which gives a little background on its influence in Iran. I found this page, among others, and ask if the image at the top of the page is in fact the Grand Bazaar -- I assume it is, but do you have any comments about the image? Another page made the claim that it is the largest mall in the world?
It failed because not only were they unable to overthrow the government, but it also strengthened the government's position. The fact that 4 days ago, somewhere between 15 million and 25 million man-marched took place in Iran says a lot about Israel's strategy failure. Why do you think the President, after reading the numbers, stepped back from attacking Iran? When he saw millions in the streets of Tehran, he understood the military and political ramifications of his actions.
Does it mean he will not attack? Not necessarily. But these are the facts.
Btw, those who died were also killed by violent protestors who blew up more than 100 mosques with people inside, beheaded officers, and killed civilians.
BTW I enjoy your articles but think you are extremely one sided and are not able to see the big picture . You’ve been stuck in this same picture for many years and your view has not changed which shows me that when you analyze, you also analyze in order to prove your point rather than take a general view of the situation
Mitra, it seems to me you are consumed by fake news. 26 million marched? Really? And absolutely no compassion for those who died trying to escape this horrible and fearful regime. Shame on you
I suggest you do your research before you make accusations.
I told you the numbers were between 15 to 25 million and that is the case.
As for being stuck i'm not stuck. I have been saying the same thing for 5 years and it came true because there is a new asiatic global order.
If u knew the middle east, like u claim u do, you would have realized what is going on in that region and how the shift has taken place.
I have respect your opinion even though it's wrong. But I do recommend you do your research about how many showed up by the way, when I say research, just don't go to western traditional media who look at the same source, but printed in a different news groups.
And that is the issue Mitra - just because you post something doesn’t make it right. What it does is offer a different way of looking at something and for that I commend you
What came true ? The fact that we saw things changing ? Of course we all did! And I’m doing my research . My point was - if one wants to make a point, one always finds items to back it. It doesn’t necessarily mean it’s right . For every comment you make, I can back up the complete opposite

First of all, thank you for subscribing and reading my articles.
Second, there are numerous institutions, western and non westerns that take polls but one also has to be very careful.
Did it fail ? I guess the loss of Iranian lives means nothing to you as long as you keep bashing Israel as the sole complicit factor

Even the president and Israel agreed to that.
